Jennifer Lawrence Wore a Nightgown on the Red Carpet

It looked like something your granny's ghost would wear to haunt you, but it was actually Dior Couture.

Here's How Jennifer Lawrence Does the Sleepwear Look on the Red Carpet

Jennifer Lawrence always wears Christian Dior on the red carpet. This we know. The brand pays her $5 million per year for the exclusive right to dress her up. Often, the results are stunning — that Raf Simons-designed strapless gown she wore to the Golden Globes last year still haunts my dreams with its beauty.

The dress she wore last night to the Paris premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 was also quite haunting. It was just more of a ... ghost-in-a-Victorian-manor sort of haunting.

Even J.Law herself seemed to be fully aware of her own ghostly appearance. In fact, she wasn't just aware of it, she was loving it. And having fun with it in a way only J.Law would, rising up on her tiptoes like co-star Josh Hutcherson's long-gone great granny, back from the dead. That, or she was just trying to make him feel extra, extra, extra short.

The dress also has a certain nightgown-ish appearance, so it's possible that she was just inspired by Woody Harrelson's outfit from the photo-call earlier in the day where he literally showed up in his pajamas — the dude wasn't even wearing shoes!

Not that it really matters what inspired J.Law's look. The fact is, she's amazing — even when she wearing a $100,000 nightgown that makes her look like a ghost from a Brontë novel. (Also, she's got Pinterest hair. Just saying.)
