Cosmo x TRESemmé: Watch Out For These Hair Trends in 2017

As predicted by TRESemme Hair Expert Daniel Bauer.

As Oscars mark the beginning of an unofficial fashion new year, the world watches out for the hair, make-up and fashion trends that'll be big in the coming season.

Filled with old school glamour, mirror shine waves, pixies and cropped hair, the Oscars had so many looks you can draw inspiration from.

Still wondering what's gonna trend this year? Worry no more! Cosmo x TRESemmé has got you the expert inputs from Daniel Bauer, one of the finest hair stylists in the country to school you on how to stay #BestTressed all year long!

If you're a fan of top buns and braided buns, Bauer declares it fashionable for the rest of the year and so have the Oscars! What we loved about this year's Academy Awards is that it was trend-free... "There was mixed bag of great looks, like double knots, Victoria Secret waves, classic updos and Gatsby waves" says Daniel.

"The trend that is big this season is to go natural, be it open hair down till your shoulders, just make sure whatever you do with your hair, it speaks volumes about your personality, whether you keep 'em long or chop it all off", he added. But, just to be on the safer side, the celeb hair expert suggests you to keep mid-length hair as the hair-styling options are endless and the length is easy to manage! Beach waves, soft updos and loose wisps can hack your way to make your haircut look edgy and this is one trend you'd find common in almost every Indian super-model RN.

1. Slough away dead cells to reveal softer, more luminous skin. Even if you already use a physical exfoliator (a formula boasting scrubbing beads to buff your complexion), adding a chemical exfoliator to your regimen will make a big difference in the look and feel of your skin. Once a week (or twice, depending on how sensitive your skin is), skip using your usual serum or moisturizer, and replace it with a leave-on chemical exfoliator, like Le Weekend De Chanel Weekly Renewing Face Care, which uses ingredients like glycolic acid to exfoliate your skin deeply, cleansing your pores of dirt, oil, bacteria, and debris that can lead to breakouts, and rose water to help calm the skin as the exfoliator does its work. Just remember to apply sunscreen immediately afterward, since it will make your skin sensitive to the sun's rays.
