So Priyanka Chopra is Producing a Comedy Series Based on Madhuri Dixit's Life...

One woman who's taken not only Bollywood, Hollywood, but the world by storm is Priyanka Chopra. She's conquered hearts & cities all over the world and we're just so proud of all her achievements. Her devil may care attitude and her ardent and undying love for cinema finally put her where she deserved to be. Starting out as a model to becoming the Miss World to digging gold in Hollywood — Hello, Alex Parrish! Priyanka Chopra is riding a wave of international success, but she didn't get there overnight. Call it destiny, luck, or magic... but there surely has been a lot of hard-work behind the humongous success she's achieved.

Guess becoming an 'Actor', was not only what Priyanka Chopra had in her bucket list.

Beauty queen: check; Bollywood star: check; Pop star: check; Certified Hollywood star with a hit TV show under her belt: check! What's left?

Paving herself a way, she believes in, Priyanka Chopra is now ready to set another milestone in her career, by producing an international TV show for the ABC network.

After producing a handful of regional movies in India, Pee Cee is ready to branch out her production venture in Hollywood. The Quantico star announced she'll be an executive producer for an upcoming TV show on ABC. The series will be a comedy inspired by the life of Bollywood actor, Madhuri Dixit, a star who moved to Denver, Colorado.

The sit-com will be based on the real life of Madhuri Dixit, (also considered as the Meryl Streep of Bollywood) who will also be co-producing the show. It'll be exciting to see two power house actors to come together for a show.

Madhuri Dixit, who quit showbiz after getting married and shifted to America, experienced a cultural change and tried mixing her colourful lifestyle to an otherwise dull town. The theme of the show will be based on the same.

Priyanka announced her excitement by a post on Instagram:

Bollywood writer, Sri Rao, who's written for shows like General Hospital: Night Shift, will pen the pilot episode, and manage the production. Madhuri's husband Sriram Nene, will also executively produce the show. The show will also be co-produced by Mark Gordon and Nick Pepper, both from the Quantico team.

We can't wait to see what these two talented actors come up with. As far as the title and the lead actor is concerned, nothing has been confirmed yet. But who better would portray the enchanting Madhuri Dixit, than Madhuri herself. We're just saying!
