Watch a Woman Capture 6 Decades of Bridal Hairstyles in 2 Minutes

Oh wow, 80s wedding hair.

From Buzzfeed video comes this look at six decades of bridal hair, starting in the 1960s. The style of the video is reminiscent of Cut Video's "100 Years of Beauty" series, only this time the only styles featured are wedding hairdos. Everything seems simple and elegant until you get to the 80s and it's full stop 1987 bangs and headband glory.

I went to so many weddings in the 80s and early 90s where the bride had this exact hair. I tried for nine years to get this exact hair. I'm pretty sure I wanted this hair when I got married. Welcome back, 80s bridal hair. The world's been a little empty without you.
