The fresh take on the mesmerising Burberry fragrance―My Burberry―has hit India. The elegant fragrance that was launched last year in Eau de Parfum now has an Eau de Toilette version. Created by Christopher Bailey, Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer, Burberry, in collaboration with perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, this potion is inspired by the iconic Burberry trench coat.
Bright and uplifting, My Burberry Eau de Toilette captures the essence of a spring blossom garden with a blend of blooming rain-tipped flowers. With top notes of sweet pea and lemon flower, the heart notes open with freesia, peonies, and peach flower; and the base notes finally settling with musk, damask rose, and white moss.
The fragrance is housed in the classic My Burberry glass bottle, whose design reflects the details of the Burberry trench. A bold horn-finish stone and black cap echoes its distinctive buttons, and the hand-tied stone-coloured English-woven gabardine knot honours the fabric invented by Thomas Burberry over 100 years ago.
And no wonder the campaign of a fragrance like that, with such iconic associations, features two British icons–Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne. The campaign was shot in London by Mario Testino, under the creative direction of Christopher Bailey.The My Burberry Eau de Toilette is available in 50ml priced at INR 5,000 and 90ml priced at INR 7,000.
