Gold Leaf Hair is the Hair Accessory Everyone is Talking About

You might remember the breathtaking moment when Rita Ora showed up to the Met Gala last year with her hair highlighted in gold foil (if you don't, check out the photo below). At first it looked like a barrette, but she confirmed with one of Cosmopolitan's editors on the red carpet that it was actually a magical gold leaf design.

A year later, Rita's trendsetting statement hair is getting super popular. The Australian salon The Fox & The Hair broke down the look step by step, so you too can DIY this look for your upcoming holiday party.

According to Seventeen, you can achieve the look by painting a section of your hair with mousse, gently pressing gold leaf on top of the section, and patting it with the brush. After it hardens, you're set for the night.
