Apple May Remove the Headphone Jack to Make iPhone 7 Thinner!

​A Japanese blog called Mocotakara has reported predictions for the Apple iPhone 7, which may cause a little bit of an upset for iPhone users...

Apparently, Apple is reportedly removing the 3.5mm headphone jack from its next gen phone, instead, the iPhone 7's Lightening connetor would be used to attach headphones.

The reason behind this would be to make a slimmer phone...to be exact, a 1mm difference...

But of course, the change will force users to purchase new headphones - or get an adapter/use bluetooth.

EFFORT MUCH?!

Although this rumour may be shocking, it isn't exactly new. In 2014, 9To5Mac reported the specifications for Apple's "Made-for-iPhone/iPad/iPod Program" Lightening headphones. 

These are already available to buy from Philips and Harman JBL. 

The new headphones have another catch too - they have to be charged, and the iPhone 7 appazza charges it, but DW, CNET have praised the device, noting there isn't a major impact on the phone's battery life.

According to the Bussiness Insider, the iPhone 7 will be in stores October 2016 possibly in two different sizes (but we just got our 6s?!).
