'Pimple porn' is On The Rise Thanks To This Dermatologist

You will have one of two reactions to the snaps and clips we're about to show you. Either, all the gunk involved will make you recoil in horror, or you'll feel so satisfied. You see, there's a whole new genre of porn creating buzz right now, and it involves squeezing cysts and pus from spots in steady, very graphic streams.

Yep, it's pimple porn and it is strangely mesmerising. Don't believe us? Take a look at the YouTube channel of Dr Sandra Lee, aka Dr Pimple Popper. Lee delights her subscribers by posting footage of gnarly extractions, and some of the clips have racked up more than 6 million views.

On the one hand, we will probably never eat mashed potato or cream cheese again. On the other, we totally want Dr Lee to take a look at our skin. She's like the zit whisperer.

There's a message behind her channel, too. Dr Lee hopes, by bringing dermatology to the masses with her video, she will encourage people to look after their skin. She is now able to provide free treatment to some of her patients, if they agree to be recorded.

She also feels that her videos make like pimple porn okay. In one clip, the doctor said: "Previously people were hiding in their rooms, at their computer sweating and worried that someone was going to come in and catch them looking at pimple porn.

"But now they they feel like they have this community and it's okay to kind of like this and be into this."

Uh-huh.
