How To Do Sun Stripping; the New Bronzer Trend

Missed out on the slopes this season? Don't worry; you can fake ski-face by sun stripping, the new makeup trend that could take contouring's crown this coming season.

The look, achieved with a matte bronzer, is a one-way ticket to that 'been having fun in the sun' look. 

Tempted? We got trend queen Lisa Potter-Dixon, Head Makeup Artist at Benefit Cosmetics, to show us how to do it – without looking like a muddy mess.

Follow these three super simple steps and fast-forward yourself to spring! 

Step 1

Do your foundation and makeup as you usually would, but keep it simple - don't contour/highlight/strobe!

Step 2

Using a matte bronzer and a compact brush, draw a stripe from the centre of your nose to the top of your ear on either side of the face. It may look ridiculous now, but don't worry.

Step 3

Buff it in with a blusher brush to blend the bronzer seamlessly, giving a, obvious sun-kissed look to the high planes of your face.
