5 Ways to Get Rid of Dark Circles Naturally

Rose water soothes and rejuvenates your under-eye skin that reduces dark circles. Plus, its anti-bacterial properties make your skin clear and radiant.

Just soak some cotton eye pads or cotton balls in pure rose water and place them on your eyelids. Leave them on for about 15 minutes. Do this treatment twice a day every week, or until the dark circles diminish.

Tomatoes have natural bleaching agents and excellent bleaching properties that can lighten skin quite effectively.

Take 1 tsp tomato juice and 1 1/2 tsp of lemon juice and gently apply this mixture over your dark circles. Let it sit for about 10 minutes and rinse off with cool water. Follow this easy-peasy treatment twice a day for 2-3 weeks for visible results.

3. Say Yes to Almond Oil

Almond oil is a great natural ingredient for your skin. Massaging almond oil regularly (in circualr motion) reduces the dark appearance of veins beneath the under-eye skin.

Apply some almond oil over the dark circles (just before you hit the bed) and gently massage it into your skin. Leave on overnight. Rinse off with cool water the next morning. Use this remedy till your raccoon eyes get fixed.

4. Depend On Raw Potato

Potatoes have great bleaching properties that lighten dark circles and cure puffy eyes.

All you need to do is grate one or two raw potatoes and extract the juice. Dip a cotton ball in the juice and place it over your eyes. Make sure the juice covers the dark circles as well as the eyelids. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse properly with cold water. Repeat this treatment twice daily for a few weeks.

5. Make Use of Cucumber

Cucumbers have skin-lightening agents and mild astringent properties that fix dark circles naturally and refreshes your skin.

Cut a fresh cucumber into thick slices and refrigerate them for about half an hour. Apply the slices over the dark circles for about 10 minutes. Wash off with water, and repeat twice a day for best results.

Alternatively, you can mix equal parts of cucumber juice with lemon juice and apply it on the affected area using a cotton ball. Let it sit for 15 minutes and rinse it off with water.
