Take some beetroot leaves and boil them till the water reduces to half the initial quantity. Now add some henna and make a paste. Apply it to your scalp and let it sit for half an hour before rinsing off. Repeat this twice a week.

Take a cup of fresh coconut milk and apply it on your scalp and hair. Let it sit for about half an hour. Rinse off with cool water followed by shampoo. Do this once a week.

Egg white is packed with proteins and vitamins that stop hair thinning and nourish your tresses.

You will need two egg whites for this DIY treatment. Whisk them well, and apply to your scalp and hair evenly. Keep it on for half an hour. Rinse with cool water followed by mild shampoo. For best results, do this twice a week.

5. Onion Juice

The high sulfur content in onions improves blood circulation to the hair follicles and boosts hair growth by regenerating follicles. Its antibacterial properties kill bacteria that cause scalp infections.

All you need is an onion and some cotton. Grate the onion and strain its juice in a bowl. Apply this juice onto your scalp using a cotton ball. Leave it on for about half an hour. Rinse off with cold water followed by shampoo. Apply once a week.
