2. Beetroot Juice

Beetroot is an excellent source of protein, potassium, phosphorus, vitamins B and C and other nutrients that promote hair growth.

Take some beetroot leaves and boil them till the water reduces to half the initial quantity. Now add some henna and make a paste. Apply it to your scalp and let it sit for half an hour before rinsing off. Repeat this twice a week.

3. Coconut Milk

Coconut milk is rich in fat, minerals and proteins that stop hair fall and boost hair regrowth. Plus, it conditions your hair, making it smoother and healthier.

Take a cup of fresh coconut milk and apply it on your scalp and hair. Let it sit for about half an hour. Rinse off with cool water followed by shampoo. Do this once a week.

4. Egg White Mask

Egg white is packed with proteins and vitamins that stop hair thinning and nourish your tresses.

You will need two egg whites for this DIY treatment. Whisk them well, and apply to your scalp and hair evenly. Keep it on for half an hour. Rinse with cool water followed by mild shampoo. For best results, do this twice a week.

5. Onion Juice

The high sulfur content in onions improves blood circulation to the hair follicles and boosts hair growth by regenerating follicles. Its antibacterial properties kill bacteria that cause scalp infections.

All you need is an onion and some cotton. Grate the onion and strain its juice in a bowl. Apply this juice onto your scalp using a cotton ball. Leave it on for about half an hour. Rinse off with cold water followed by shampoo. Apply once a week.

1. Slough away dead cells to reveal softer, more luminous skin. Even if you already use a physical exfoliator (a formula boasting scrubbing beads to buff your complexion), adding a chemical exfoliator to your regimen will make a big difference in the look and feel of your skin. Once a week (or twice, depending on how sensitive your skin is), skip using your usual serum or moisturizer, and replace it with a leave-on chemical exfoliator, like Le Weekend De Chanel Weekly Renewing Face Care, which uses ingredients like glycolic acid to exfoliate your skin deeply, cleansing your pores of dirt, oil, bacteria, and debris that can lead to breakouts, and rose water to help calm the skin as the exfoliator does its work. Just remember to apply sunscreen immediately afterward, since it will make your skin sensitive to the sun's rays.
