1. Coconut Oil and Honey

Coconut oil repairs damaged hair by increasing keratin retention. While honey moisturises dry, damaged locks and strengthens the hair follicles. 

  • Take 4 tablespoon pure coconut oil and 2 tablespoon honey in a bowl. 
  • Warm the mixture by keeping the bowl in a sauce pan placed over the flame. A
  • Apply it onto your scalp and hair. 
  • Wear a shower cap and let it sit for about half an hour. 
  • Rinse properly with normal water.

Use this remedy twice a week for best results.

2. Avocado, Apple Cider Vinegar and Shea Butter

This easy-peasy homemade hair conditioner moisturises and nourishes your tresses. Suitable for all hair types, it tames frizz leaving your hair soft and sleek. 

  • Take one ripe avocado, 3 tablespoon apple cider vinegar and 1/2 cup shea butter.
  • Mix the ingredients in  blender.
  • Apply this conditioner to hair and scalp and leave it on for 30 minutes. 
  • Wash off with cool water.

Use this hair conditioner twice or thrice a month.

3. Mint and Tea

Mint and tea are ideal ingredients for nourishing oily hair. Tea (both black and green) strengthens your hair and tames frizz. While mint soothes the scalp and keeps scalp infections at bay.

  • Just take a handful of mint leaves (washed and chopped).
  • Add the leaves to 2 cups of water and boil it till the water reduces to half.
  • Strain the mixture and let it cool. 
  • Now heat a cup of water in a sauce pan and 
  • Add tea leaves to it  and boil the mixture for 5 minutes. 
  • Strain and let it cool. 
  • Mix the tea and mint water together and rinse your hair thoroughly with this mixture.

Do this twice a week for best results.

4. Sesame Oil and Aloe Vera

Sesame oil has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties that fights dandruff, itchiness and scalp infections. Aloe vera gel soothes your scalp and reduces inflammation. 

  • All you need is 2 tablespoon pure aloe vera gel and 2 tablespoon sesame oil.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and a cup of yogurt to the mixture.
  • Mix it well to form a smooth paste.
  • Apply this conditioner on damp hair and let it sit for an hour.
  • Rinse with normal water followed by mild shampoo.

Use this remedy twice a week for best results.
