15 Bollywood Celebs Who Have Made Kick-Ass Appearances on TV

1. Priyanka Chopra

Our #21st Anniversary issue cover girl aka PeeCee was the reigning queen of Bollywood, and what's more she didn't stop at that! Priyanka bagged her own TV show in Hollywood by ABC titled Quantico, which is currently shooting its third season! Obviously, the show was a huge hit, and Priyanka went on to achieve global fame. She also hosted a season of the Indian rendition of Fear Factor called Khatron Ke Khiladi, where she left everyone spellbound with her stunts and daring.

2. Anil Kapoor

The ageless actor of Bollywood, Anil Kapoor is one man who makes even youngsters feel insecure about their looks. The man seems to be alien to the concept of 'age'! Anil Kapoor not only starred as a a prominent character in the International TV show 24, he also brought the show to the Indian masses where he played the lead.

3. Zayed Khan

With some blink-and-miss roles in Bollywood that failed to give him recognition or a soft spot in the hearts of the audience, Zayed Khan has finally decided to try his luck on the silver screen. He will be seen as a businessman on a show titled Haasil, that is yet to premier.

4. Sanjay Kapoor

Anil Kapoor apparently inspired his own brother to follow his lead, as Sanjay Kapoor who has been long gone from the face of Bollywood will be seen on the small screen on a show directed by Vikram Bhatt titled Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara. Let's hope this brings some streak of luck in his doomed career as an actor.

Kaun Banega Crorepati— The hit reality game show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan (primarily) which has spanned 17 years (and counting!) is one of the biggest memories of every 90s kid, and has a nostalgic ring about it that inspires such affinity. But, besides that it was one of the first game shows to hook an entire country into the space of answering general knowledge questions and winning money—and a lot of its credit goes to its fantastic host for all seasons (except the third), Mr. Bachchan. He also hosted the 3rd season of Bigg Boss and later starred in his own show on the small screen titled Yudh.

Salman Khan is an actor is extremely popular, especially amongst the masses, which is why he went on to host all seasons of the reality show Bigg Boss after season 3. His anchoring skills perfectly compliment the controversial tone of the show which gives an instant boost to its TRPs. Not just that, Salman has also hosted 10 Ka Dum, which was also a huge hit.

Not only did his career start from the show called Fauji, after becoming the superstar of Bollywood, SRK never shied from returning to the small screen. It was a pleasant surprise to see Shahid Kapoor as a judge for a dance reality show, but his love and passion—not to mention his skill—in dance just made it all click perfectly. Shahid made his TV debut in 2015 with Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Reloaded.

The dimpled queen of Bollywood Preity Zinta not only made people swoon over her oh-so-gorgeous looks in films, but even has some TV shows to her credit! She made her television debut in 2011 when she hosted Guinness World Records—Ab India Todega which was followed by her own celebrity chat show Up Close & Personal with PZ that was shot at her penthouse in Mumbai. Wait, it doesn't end here! Preity also judged the 7th season of celebrity-couple dance reality show Nach Baliye.

She rocked the floor with her killer and flexible dance moves in every film that she has done. Everybody loves Sonakshi's songs and definitely shake a leg to her numbers. Probably why the actress decided to cash in on it, and hopped on the 'judge' panel in the last season of celebrity dance reality show, Nach Baliye. She has also judged shows like Indian Idol Junior and Om Shanti Om.

Renowned for his kick-ass physical fitness, it was hardly a surprise when Akshay Kumar decided to host Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. His love for food and background as a chef also bagged him the spot of a judge on Master Chef.
