Hackers Threaten to Publish Graphic Plastic Surgery Photos, Including of Royals

A hacker collective named the Dark Overlord claims to have stolen photos from the London Bridge Plastic Surgery (LBPS), a London-based plastic surgery clinic whose clients reportedly include many in the UK entertainment world.

In a statement to the Daily Beast, a representative for the Dark Overlord claims, "We have TBs [terabytes] of this shit. Databases, names, everything. There are some royal families in here." The Daily Beast also reports that many of the images are extremely graphic, portraying in-progress genitalia and breast enhancements and in some cases, showing patients' faces.

In a statement, LBPS shared, "We can confirm that the Clinic has been the victim of a cyber attack. We took measures to block the attack immediately in order to protect patient information and we informed the Metropolitan Police who launched an investigation."

"Regrettably, following investigations by our IT experts and the police, we believe that our security was breached and that data has been stolen. We are still working to establish exactly what data has been compromised."

Some of the Dark Overlord's other hacking targets have included an Iowa school district, healthcare organizations, and a company that did post-production work for Netflix.
