Prince George Met Barack Obama in His Dressing Gown and It's So Cute We Could Burst

Prince George will be kicking back and enjoying some quality time with his toys this weekend, after the busy week he's had. First there was the photoshoot with all his cousins for his Great Grandma (the Queen's) 90th birthday, and then he had the Obamas round on Friday night, which meant yet more entertaining.

Honestly, I'm knackered just thinking about it.

But opting for a laid back, cool and casual look, two-year-old Prince George - noting that it was way past his bedtime, thank you very much - wore a dressing gown for his introductions to the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, and the First Lady, Michelle. Nothing phases this one.

Take one look at the photos from George's mingling in high places, though, and you'll get a sudden urge to reproduce yourself, because he looks BEYOND cute.

Remembering to keep up appearances, Prince George also took the opportunity to have a little go on the rocking horse the Obamas bought for him when he was born. Now whether he uses this on the reg, or he was just pretending it was up there with his favourite toys to please the President, I don't know, but he certainly gave the impression that he was having a blast.

There was no sign of Princess Charlotte, however, who - at just 11 months - was probably conked out in a cot somewhere. She did make an appearance on the Queen's lap in the Instagram photo above, though, proving just as we thought: she is literally a mini-me Prince George with brown hair.

Still counting down the days 'til we see the pair of them, George and Charlotte, toddling about together holding hands. Not sure my ovaries would be able to cope, mind you.
