This girl is on fire. From her mind-blowing debut in "Quantico" to nailing it all in Ellen's show, Our desi girl knows how to conquer the world with all the sass.
Here are 7 times that she made it to making *major* headlines:
1) On being compared with Deepika Padukone.
"What I did was like breaking concrete. It is really hard to convince studios that 'I am used to this type of part and won't settle for less. I won't be stereotyped like an exotic girl. But it is nice to see Deepika doing xXx and Sonam starting out."
2) When asked if she knew English before coming to the U.S.
"Yes. Another fact. 10 per cent of India speaks English. 1.3 million people, which is more than most nations. So when you go to India you'll encounter most people that speak English."
3) She knows how to deal with failure.
"I don't like to fail. And if I do fail, I bundle up in my room with my blanket, eat a tub of ice cream and I'm over it." I'm always looking for new things to do. I've learned to make fear my friend."
4) On being asked about her relationship.
"A guy will be in my life only when I am in love. I don't need a guy for anything else except for children."
5) Yes! she is irreplaceable ,
"I am irreplaceable and I have made deliberate efforts for that."
6) She believes in equality.
"I'm a woman, whether I'm white, Black, brown, green, blue, or pink ' whatever. I think we need to start looking beyond that. It would be a big win for women, period."
7) When she opened up about a heart-break.
"Heartache is a bitch, man. You have to isolate yourself from the other person whether they have been bad to you or you have been bad to them. You start with the little things. 'I need sleep, I need a good book. I need to be with friends'. You have to start thinking about yourself. My heartaches have been bad. There is no good way to end a relationship."
