If the #GOTS7E6Leak wasn't enough, get ready for another leak, as hackers threaten to release the highly anticipated finale episode of the popular HBO franchise.
Just few days back, HBO accidentally released the episode 6 online early and had its social media accounts hacked in a separate attack.
The hacker group that attacked HBO recently has threatened to release the final episode of the current, seventh season of Game of Thrones earlier than the air date.
The US-based media company offered US$250,000 (INR 1,60,31,250) as a settlement, but the hackers demanded US $6.5 million (INR 41,67,83,250) in Bitcoin, and are ready to release the most anticipated episode of the hit TV series.
A whopping 1.5 terabytes of data has been stolen from the HBO servers. Along with it the hackers have sent a warning message to Mashable saying, "Be ready for GOT S& E6 &E7 as soon as possible."
"We are not in communication with the hacker and we're not going to comment every time a new piece of information is released," HBO said in a statement.
"The hacker may continue to drop bits and pieces of stolen information in an attempt to generate media attention. That's a game we're not going to participate in."
We're ready to wait for the season finale and build up our excitement level till Monday. And BTW, just in case you wanted to know, the season 8 shoot starts October '17 and will hit our torrents... TV, we mean, in 2019.
The wait is longer this time, friends!
