Saif Ali Khan Talks Parenthood, Ibrahim's Debut and Taimur

An actor leads his/her life in limelight. The fans are always excited to know about an actor's real life. Be it on-screen or off-screen, their charisma keeps the audience intrigued. In Saif Ali Khan's case, it's not just his but also his kids' life that the audience is interested in.

In an interview with a leading daily, he got candid about his kids and parenthood.

Saif said, "Ibrahim thinks he is an actor before Sara because he did Tashan (2008). And he was upset when it didn't work (laughs). But he is a good looking guy. All our friends' children in our peer group want to be actors because they see it as an attractive profession with respect, money, affluence and a certain amount of privilege. But how many of them are interested in acting, I don't know. Sara has a degree from the London School Of Economics and still want to be an actor over a banker so obviously, there is something very attractive about this lifestyle."

Saif's latest movie, Chef released at the beginning of the month and Kareena is also shooting for her first project post-delivery, Veere Di Wedding. Since their toddler, Taimur is just 10-month-old the actor was quizzed about how the couple juggles family and work, Saif said, "During the first schedule she took him (to Delhi) and I was very happy at home. (Laughs). I love being by myself but after a couple of days, I missed having them around. But I am not very finicky as a parent. He is a part of my life and this is for the long haul. I like my space and I like having them around also."

Saif added, "We are lucky we have help and we have a distraction because I do think that sometimes having a child can be overwhelming if you don't have breathing space. Some people have a lower tolerance for claustrophobia and I am one of them. I won't be happy if I have to be around them all the time. In the second schedule, Taimur was alone with me and he was looking a little sad. But now he is happy that Kareena is back. The house also feels balanced because we need her energy."
