Kangana Ranaut did all what she could do to make her last release, Simran a big hit at the box office. She gave a string of no-holds-barred interviews, back to back to steal the limelight. Not to forget is the 'The Vagina Anthem' song that shot to the top of the Youtube charts.

The song made in collaboration with All India Bakchod, called out sexism in Bollywood and made subtle jokes on many Bollywood celebrities, garnered a lot of attention and we loved it!

Simran tanked miserably at the box office. What concluded a setback for Ranaut's career was a string of box-office failures (Katti Batti, I Love New York, Rangoon and Simran). Her next release, which is an epic saga, Manikarnika, is solely riding on her shoulders. The movie is being produced on a humongous budget and makers are dicey about the performance of the movie, considering the fact that their leading lady couldn't successfully pull off Simran, which was made on a much lesser budget.

All this has probably lead to Kangana pondering over the selection of projects, and the actor has indeed taken a good decision to change that. Distancing herself from all the controversies and legal notices pouring at her doorstep every other day, Kangana is finally getting us a sequel of her most entertaining movies ever.

Brace yourselves 'cause the next film in the Tanu Weds Manu franchise is in the making!!!

Excited much?

Yes, Kangana has finally given her nod to the third installment of the hit series. Earlier she had scrapped the idea of further taking forward the franchise as it would loose its charm after an extent. The director of the movie, Aanand L Rai has agreed to the speculations.

"Once I am done with ShahRukh Khan's film, we will start working on the script for the third part," he said.

We're glad that Kangana had a change of mind and is ready to bring back one of the most loved and quirky character, 'Tanu' back on the screen.

"Once the pressure of Manikarnika is off me, I'll meet and spend some time with him (Aanand). The third part of TWM will have to be crackling. So far, there's no discussion, but the film might happen next year," she said in an interview.
