Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris and Avril Lavigne Get Caught Up In Major Twitter Dramz

Make it stop.

Avril Lavigne has spoken out on Twitter after a fan tweeted her a picture of what appeared to be Taylor Swift throwing shade at her meet and greets.

An Avril fan account posted a screen grab from Tumblr, appearing to show a post Taylor has liked. The post involves a picture collage of Katy Perry, Avril, Kanye West and Britney Spears awkwardly posing with fans at various events. It then compares this with pictures of Taylor kissing, hugging and generally messing about with her fans.

The picture of Avril Lavigne comes from a set that went viral back in May 2014, of her at a meet and greet with fans in Brazil, who had reportedly paid nearly $400 to have their picture taken. The problem was that fans were told by security they couldn't touch or hug her, which led to some of the most cringe pictures ever taken with a celeb...

Avril has now replied to the fan's tweet of the Tumblr grab, saying: "Comparison is judging and judging a person does not define who they are it defines who you are. We all Love our fans." She then posted a collage of her own, showing various pictures of her also hugging and joking with fans.

Things then got even more complicated, when a picture emerged of a supposed tweet that some news outlets reported to show Calvin defending Taylor, saying: "She didn't judge you she doesn't judge anyone! She was only having fun with her fans, not trying to compare you."

But Calvin has since made it VERY clear that the tweet was in fact Photoshopped, telling fans the screen grab was 100% fake and not posted by him:

Either way, we're pretty sure Taylor was just liking the pictures of her and her fans, not necessarily trying to criticise the other celebs featured. Plus, Taylor and Avril are now following each other, so hopefully this means there were some peacemaking direct messages exchanged and all is well.
