Taylor Swift Donated $50,000 to an 11-year-old Girl With Leukemia

After learning that 'Bad Blood' is her fight song.

Taylor Swift has continued her grand lifelong tour of loveliness, this time donating a HUGE amount of money to a young fan struggling with leukemia.

Naomi Oakes is an 11-year-old Taylor Swift fan who's currently battling leukemia. She's in need of 6 to 9 months of intensive hospital treatment, and her family have set up a GoFundMe page to cover the massive medical expenses. As part of the page, they shared a video telling Naomi's story, with Naomi talking about her favourite singer - T Swifty, of course - and her choice of theme song: 'Bad Blood'.

Her parents also wrote that Naomi is especially sad about having to miss a Taylor Swift concert in Phoenix, Arizona, given the intense nature of her illness. They hoped that Taylor might see the video and share the #TeamNaomi hashtag to raise more money to get their daughter better.

What they didn't expect was a huge donation from Taylor Swift herself. Two days after creating the page, Naomi's parents received several donations from Taylor, totalling $50,000, alongside a sweet message:

"To the beautiful and brave Naomi, I'm sorry you have to miss it, but there will always be more concerts. Let's focus on getting you feeling better. I'm sending the biggest hugs to you and your family."

Naomi was - as you'd expect - OVERJOYED with the donation and personal message. Here's her very cute reaction:
