Justin Bieber covers the new issue of Interview magazine, which is exciting because (1) they styled him with what seems to be expensive versions of Fifty Shades props and (2) Martha Stewart did the interview. Justin and Martha go way back to 2011, when they met backstage at the Late Show With David Letterman. Martha thought Justin looked "about 10 years old" at the time, though he was in fact 16 or 17. "I always looked really young," he explained. "I matured pretty late."
Martha doesn't dig too deep in the interview, but she does get a few important tidbits out of Justin like the fact that he supposedly "finished high school with a 4.0 GPA." They also shared this glorious exchange about the benefits of traveling by private jet:
STEWART: What's your favorite mode of transportation, Justin?
BIEBER: Probably private jet. That's the quickest and most comfortable.
STEWART: Do you have a jet?
BIEBER: I don't own a jet, but I rent jets in my spare time.
STEWART: Do you know how to fly?
BIEBER: I've flown before, yeah. When I was going to Coachella, actually, I took a plane out.
STEWART: It's fun, right?
BIEBER: It was pretty scary, but it was fun.
One more time for the people in the back: "That's the quickest and most comfortable." Never change, Justin. Never change.
Martha also talked to Justin about his mysterious new album, which sounds unfinished but is definitely in the works. "I'm working a lot with Skrillex and Diplo and this guy named Poo Bear, who's an incredible writer," Justin said, adding that he's been drumming a lot as well. "We've just been getting our groove." Easy to do when you're renting private jets in your spare time.
