Jennifer Lawrence Reveals a Bunch of Details About Her New Movie With Amy Schumer

Okay, so we're a little bit biased. Because the second you mention Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer - two of our favourite people in the world - in the same sentence, we're going to get pretty excited. But seriously, bias aside, their new movie together sounds SO SO GOOD. And we cannot WAIT for it to make its way onto our screens.

In case you missed the most brilliant news of the last month, Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer are writing and starring in a movie together. We'll just let that sink in. Take a moment to be overjoyed. Get on our level.

This week, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jennifer Lawrence revealed all kinds of important details about her movie with Amy. Including the very basic plot, which really helps us look forward to it a bit more.

So, Amy and Jennifer will play sisters in the movie, with Amy as the mature, together one, and J-Law as the one who's feeling the struggle. "Amy, in this movie, she has it very together," says Jennifer. "It's her lifelong dream to be a flight attendant. She works at the airport, and I'm a MESS."

It sounds superb already, no?

Also, there's "not really boys" in the film, which sounds wonderful, and will apparently be "dirty, funny, and real". HOORAY.

Jennifer also discussed her working relationship with Amy, explaining what makes them total soulmates. "I watched Trainwreck and I was like, 'Yep, we're made for each other,'" says Jennifer. "I reached out and everything just happened so quickly.

"We both have very similar senses of humor, obviously and aren't afraid, which is a good and bad thing, because I don't know what our movie will be rated. And we're both very blunt. So we've gotten through a really strenuous process without ever fighting, because we're both very straightforward."

It's a match made in our comedy dreams, and we love it so much we might just stay in tonight, eat some pizza, and watch gifs of Jennifer and Amy side by side on laptop screens. Just to prepare ourselves for the comedic genius to come.
