Man Named Taylor Swift Says Sharing a Name With the Famous Pop Singer Is... Difficult

There are at least 61 Taylor Swifts in the United States and only one of them is famous. What about those other Taylor Swifts? What happens to them? Did the famous Taylor Swift transport them to an island in the South Pacific, never to be heard from again?? Or do they just walk amongst us, mildly inconvenienced to share a name with one of the most famous people on Earth?

Hint: It's the latter.

The Today Show talked to one of the Taylor Swifts, a 30-year-old photographer in Seattle, Washington. He says his life has been affected by sharing the exact same name as a pop phenomenon. He sometimes gets fan letters meant for the singer — "I just want you to know that you are my favorite singer!"  — and has been invited to join a posh yacht club, which he says was "kinda fun."

However, there are bad parts. Take for instance that it's almost impossible to Google another Taylor Swift because the famous one eats up the first million pages of results.

"I'm still, like, 10,000 pages back on a Google search," Swift said, admitting that on several occasions he's considered changing his name. Which, tbh, seems like the only logical choice to me? What about Swifty TayTay? Think about it, Male Taylor Swift From Seattle.
