When 19-year-old Rachel Yoshida posted her family's Christmas photo this year to Imgur, she probably didn't anticipate just how bananas everyone would go over it. The image, which has over 2 million views, was meant as a fun, tongue-in-cheek take on one of the more obvious of holiday puns.

But as is often the case with anything interesting on the Internet, some people loved it ("You made my day with this, enormously grateful") and some thought it was hella weird ("Old guy calling his daughters his ho's. Yeah, it's up there on the cringe meter..."). That doesn't really matter though because it sounds like Rachel and her sister, Natalie, are sending all the haters to the left and just doing their thing.

"All of our immediate friends understand our humor so they think it's hilarious," Natalie told BuzzFeed. "Not one person who knows us in real life has 'hated.' Everyone who is 'hating' is seeking offense in an obvious joke."

Right on! Personally, I can see why people might think it's a little offensive (it's never OK to use the "H" word to refer to women, even in jest). But, at the same time, it's obvious they're kidding and it's really nice that the family has a similar sense of humor, and judging from her comments, it seems like these lovely ladies have a strong sense of self-worth. Plus, isn't being weird with your family what Christmas is all about? Discuss.
