3 Idiots, Lagaan, Dil Chahta Hai, the number of Aamir Khan movies that we've all seen and love is endless. But out of the many breathtaking films that he has done, Taare Zameen Par is by far one of his most brilliant works. And why wouldn't it be? There's happiness, sadness, hope, a social message, everything that a successful and moving Bollywood film should have.
Here's a trailer to refresh your memory:
So imagine my horror when I came across this video:
Unbelievable right? Someone actually edited the trailer of the film to make it look like a horror movie. And regardless of the fact that I did get scared, I find the edit rather distasteful.
Choosing a movie that talks about a serious, almost too real, issue of dyslexia and editing it to look like a horror movie isn't fun or scary. What's more, the trailer has been edited in a fashion that's most appalling; with the portions that show the small boy's learning disability the most horrifying.
Don't get me wrong, everyone love's a good spoof. Just a suggestion: next time use a movie less sensitive and touching like Prem Aggan.
