The More Emojis You Use, The More You're Thinking About Sex!

If you're the kind of person who simply can't let a text pass without a winky face addendum, it might be code for you wanting sexy-time—all the time. A brand spankin' new study (What! it was right there!) says that people who use emojis with intense frequency tend to have sex on their mind far more than people who stick to regulation text.

Online dating portal match.com found that emojis often have strong sexual ties, even something as seemingly innocent as a vegetable emoji could be synonymous with anatomy.

The survey, taken with 5,000 people, found that about 40 percent of the users that put multiple emojis in a text, also think about sex multiple times in a day as well, while people who had it on their mind less frequently used far fewer or no emojis in their texts.

"[Emoji users] want to give their texts more personality. Emoji users don't just have more sex—they go on more dates and they are two times more likely to get married," the leader of the study, Helen Fisher, told the press.

Another fun fact the study discovered? The dirtiest, most 'phallic' emoji in the book? The brinjal. Always nice to remember the next time you order eggplant parm at restaurant. :) :)
