"Fifty Shades of Grey"'s 90-Year-Old Editor Thinks the Movie Could've Been Raunchier

Prolific genius film editor Anne Coates sat down with The Hollywood Reporter and told the magazine that she thought one of her most recent projects, Fifty Shades of Grey, could've been sexier. Yep.

The 90-year-old living legend — she's has been nominated five times for the Academy Award for Film Editing  —  thought the movie could've used some more ~va-va-voom~.

"I thought it could have been a little more raunchy myself," the she said before accepting the Los Angeles Film Critics Association's Career Achievement Award on Saturday, January 9. "Creatively, it was quite interesting because they were trying to get as sexy as they could and get an R rating. So we were very delicately going around some of the scenes."

Coates added that she was surprised she was even asked to edit Fifty Shades in the first place

"I was surprised to be asked to do it, but I think it was because I did Unfaithful, which was fairly sexy," she added.

All hail the Queen. May she live and work forever.
