These Guys Want to Start a First-of-a-Kind Modelling Agency in India...

Yes, you heard that right! 

The Mitr Trust, a Delhi-based charity headed by Rudrani Chettri, has been working towards spreading awareness and fighting for transgender rights for over 10 years. ​

And now, they've kickstarted a crowd-funded campaign to start India's first transgender modelling agency. About time, right? Think about it: Caitlyn Jenner, Andreja Pejic, Carmen Carrera, Isis King, they've managed to make it big. Agreed, the list isn't the longest, but it's getting there. And it's about time we did too.

What's more, Mitr has teamed up with fashion stylist Rishi Raj. So, five transgender models will get the chance to have their portfolio shot by a top fashion photographer (after auditions, of course). Pretty damn impressive.

The guys at Mitr are hoping to raise 5000 pounds, to help them reach their goal and keep their charity running.  So check out their campign here if you'd like to contribute!
