Leonardo DiCaprio Fails Beautifully at High-Five, Is Human After All

Leonardo DiCaprio had a huge night at the 2016 Golden Globes. Not only did his film  The Revenant  win a bunch of awards including Best Motion Picture, Drama, he walked away with the Best Actor award. Nice! But that and the fact that he's a wealthy drop-dead-gorgeous movie star who is beloved by millions and dates the world's most beautiful women shouldn't lead you to believe that he is perfect.

On Sunday night, as he accepted his award for Best Actor, Leo had this awesome high-five exchange. It looks like Leo went in expecting a high-five but got an awkward fist-bump, hand-grab instead.

Look, everyone on Earth has been there. We've all gone in for the high-five and realized we'd made a huge mistake. Yes, indeed, we are all this dude trying to high-five the world's most famous actor during his big win. Sure, it's a fail but it's a glorious fail, the kind that you celebrate for years to come, the kind that you look back on in your golden years in a nursing home, whispering to a nurse with a bright glimmer in your eye there was this one time I high-fived Leo when I maybe should have fist-bumped and it was magic.

This just makes me love him so much more.
