Kalki Koechlin Just Set the Record Straight About Pay Gap in Bollywood

Gender pay gap is a huge issue around the world... A lot of Hollywood actors like Jennifer Lawrence have also spoken about it in the past and Bollywood is no different. Being a staunch feminist, Kalki was recently quizzed about the gender disparity in the film industry, and the actor blatantly admitted that Bollywood is as patriarchal as our society. 

And setting the record straight about the gender pay gap in Bollywood, Kalki said, "You only get paid more than a man if you are Priyanka Chopra." 

Well, there you have it, unless you're an A-lister, chances are you won't be paid fair and square! We really hope the new wave of the feminist movement is successful in changing this!
