Listen to a Recording of the Demon That Inspired "The Conjuring 2" (and the Nightmares You'll Have Later)

With The Conjuring 2's opening day just a few short weeks away, Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new featurette starring the scariest, most disturbing sounds to ever hit your eardrum. The featurette is only 55 seconds but it feels much longer because you simply want it to end. But because this is a movie based on the real findings of Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) and you're somewhat intrigued by the mystery of it all, it's hard to look the other way. The studio claims that actual recordings of the demonic possession that inspired The Conjuring 2 are in the clip. You can be the judge of its authenticity but last I checked, doubting a ghost (who growls, says "no" a bunch of times, and overall sounds like it's got an agenda), is bad news.

FYI, experience with the already-released trailers (which are scary AF) does not take away from how terrifying this featurette is. If you're like me, you'll want to watch it in broad daylight, once without audio, and once with the sound on. Then you can share it with you all your friends and scare them too.
