This Is The Most Googled Beauty Trend Of 2017 So Far

We may only be a couple of months into 2017, but there's one clear beauty trend that's dominating the beauty world..

With our interest in Korean skincare and 'no makeup makeup' rising, it's no surprise that Google's latest report revealed that we're searching for the way to perfect skin.

The report said, 'Masks have been prominent in Japan over the past five years as a sustained riser. The skincare trend was also a sustained riser in the US and France, but recently took off as a rising star in both markets. The trend has picked up quickly in the US, while user interest is beginning to decline in Japan.'

If you're looking to get into the trend, you don't have to search too far. Thanks to a hoard of new and innovative masks storming on to the market, there are masks for everything; from gel lip masks that promise to provide some plumping to 24-carat gold masks that are currently sweeping Instagram.

Though masks aren't the only beauty trend picking up interest this year. The report also showed an increase in searches for vegan beauty products, bath bombs and cleansing – proving we're all looking for a little bit of pamper-time…
