Apart from helping us hide un-manicured (more like monster) feet, we all know that nude heels give us legs for days. Miranda Kerr loves them and so do Blake Lively and Rosie Huntington-Whitely. Despite the A-listers' stamp of approval and the magical leg-elongating effect, we have a serious problem with nudes; they're always around only in this dull peach-y color. What about the rest of us who have been blessed with slightly more melanin?
Enter, Parisian footwear genius Christian Louboutin. Known for his signature red soles, we have a feeling that nude pumps are going to be his new thing. The brand first introduced it's nude collection in 2013 and the collections now features five different shades, to match five different skin tones. The designer has promised that they're going to add two new shades as well. "There are two colors that I'm missing the range of in the middle," he says. "In the next year, we will be at seven total skin tones."
If there can be a hundred shades of foundation, there can be a hundred shades of nude heels too, we say. With pumps ranging from biscuit beige to chestnut brown, thank you for helping us take a step (pun intended) towards finding the perfect nudes to match our skin Mr. Louboutin.
