Watch Adele Help a Fan Propose on the Opening Night of Her Tour

Some guy named Neil will remember Feb. 29, 2016, for the rest of his life, thanks to a proposal orchestrated by Adele on the first night of her world tour. During last night's show in Belfast, Ireland, Adele asked if anyone in the audience wanted her help in a traditional Leap Day proposal (in which the woman asks the man for his hand). According to the fan, she asked her boyfriend earlier in the day but he responded with "maybe in a little while." Enter Adele and her cup of tea. (The fan arrives around the 2:20 mark).

After rallying the crowd into a united chant for Neil, he said yes, and Adele a little jump. She also invited herself to the wedding because Essex is "down the road from me."
