This is the year of celebrities turning designers, first with Kanye West putting on a massive fashion show at Madison Square Garden, then William Pharrell co-owning G-star and Rihanna debuting her Fenty x Puma collaboration during NYFW, we may have come to believe that we have entered the age of celebrity-sired fashion lines.
Robert Pattinson revealed his design ambition in an interview with Numéro Homme.
"I've started making clothes," he told the magazine. "For the last two years, I've been visiting producers and craftsmen. There's already quite a few pieces. I love doing it."
Though there's no news on when the clothes with hit the market, Pattinson did speak very little about the overall aesthetic. "My style is influenced by the cities I go to, sourcing fabrics and local skills," he explained. "In Los Angeles, it's really easy to work with denim and do workwear inspired clothes. In England, I look more towards wool and knitwear. What I do is pretty multifaceted, clothes for men and for women, things that I make with friends… But I'm not going into too much detail, I don't want to jinx anything…"
