Here's How Celebs Actually Shoot The Scene of Breaking a Glass on Their Heads

That's a neat trick, we gotta admit.

Here's How Celebs Break Glass With Their Body Without *Actually* Getting Hurt!

We've often wondered in amazement at the stunts these Bollywood (or even Hollywood!) celebs perform. Be it jumping off from high-cliffs, or shooting in unbelievable near death scenarios, it's all credited to high-quality special effects (VFX) or body-doubles.

Many pictures have floated around the Internet which depict the actual scenes before VFX, v/s how we see the final scene on-screen, and it's nothing short of spectacular! Technology really makes film-making a whole other experience.

Priyanka Chopra recently shared a video on Instagram from her Quantico set, where she apparently breaks a wine glass on her head!!!

Now, relax. It wasn't really glass, and PeeCee wasn't really injured, a disclaimer she mentions in her Insta post. It was just another movie prop, which is probably how actors shoot scenes of breaking a glass piece on their body.

What appears to be made of glass, is actually made of sugar and other edible substances, which are super-light and can't injure you in any way, whatsoever! They're called breakaway glass, or candy glass, or sugar glass, and can be moulded into any object as per the scene calls for.

You can easily find its recipe online:

Pretty ingenious, right?
