Feeling the funk?! It's okay, we have all been there! Here are 5 easy steps to get you out and feeling your best!
1) Make a 'grateful' list
Write down 5 things you are grateful for. Looking at positive things you are thankful for can instantly shift your mood from negative to positive.
2) Talk to someone
Share your feelings with someone you trust and you know will give you good advice. Talking things out can feel like so much weight has been lifted off of your shoulders.
3) Watch something funny
Divert your mind by watching a funny show, movie or a silly video on YouTube. Watching something funny will make you smile, which will improve your mood very quickly!
We know, when you are feeling low, the last thing you want to do is exercise. But trust us, any sort of physical exercise will take your mind off of the funk feeling almost instantly!
5) Get out!
Staying indoors can make you feel worse and will keep your mind on feeling 'low'. Go outside for a walk, shopping or to grab something to eat to freshen your mind and give your thoughts a break.
