The controversy around Taimur Ali Khan's name had literally divided the Internet. Kareena in a recent interview with Mid Day, revealed that she had no idea people would react to it the way they did. Months after her delivery, this open letter from Jyothi Chincholi, has gone viral and is surely worth a read.

Chincholi seems to have done a lot of research and tweet hunting for the post she wrote as an open letter to Kareena on her Wordpress blog.

Proud parents, Kareena and Saif Ali Khan responded to the world hating on their son's name on various occasions, for instance on Koffee With Karan, it was exciting to see him finally tackle the backlash, head on. He clarified that it has nothing to do with the dictator—it's just a gorgeous, Persian name that mean 'Iron'. "It's just a beautiful name," he said.

And at the press con for LFW Spring/Summer 2017, where Kareena walked as the showstopper for Anita Dongre, revealed that it was bizarre how people reacted to it.

"I have no idea why people took my baby's name so personally. But we love the name and let me put it this way—it has no resemblance to any person living or dead," she said, adding, "We love the meaning and I am happy that [some] people came out in support of us so strongly. That support matters more than anything bad that was said or written", she said.

Well, we think it's best not to read too much into things, the meaning of Taimur, sure is beautiful.
