One in Five Women Suffers From a Dry Vagina

A recent study found that one in five women suffers from vaginal dryness, but 90 percent don't treat it (via The Daily Mail). A variety of factors can cause dryness, and it can lead to general irritation, pain during sex and, in some cases, depression. Almost 20 percent of the women interviewed noted that they are not having sex because they're embarrassed or afraid, and more than a third of women reported it affected their relationships.

Many are afraid to talk about it because they assume dryness only affects older women, even though it affects all ages. According to the study, a lot of women aren't aware it can be treated - a combination of a vaginal moisturizer and lubricant can eliminate the problem in a matter of weeks - and think they just can't get turned on. The more you know.
