Daniel Radcliffe's Harry Potter Audition Tape is TOO Adorable

Today's dose of unfathomable cuteness comes courtesy of Daniel Radcliffe, whose Harry Potter audition tapes and screen tests have just resurfaced.

They show a baby-faced Dan Rad chatting to a Hagrid imposter about dragon's eggs and sorcerer's stones – and everything about the footage is just adorable.

At one point we see Dan giggle his way through pretending he's looking at a baby dragon, while another clip shows him throwing some Sirius sass while reciting a Prisoner of Azkaban scene.

But it really comes together when he tries on the signature round glasses for the first time. If that doesn't give you chills, we just don't know what will.

However, while such old footage is giving us LIFE right about now, Daniel told The Times that watching it back is more than a little bit agonising.

He revealed over the weekend that a friend had sent him a YouTube link to the audition. Daniel's response? "And I was like, 'Oh s***! OK…'"

Though his reaction was exactly the opposite of ours, he explained to the paper that the tapes were filmed "at a stage when you hate your face anyway, and anything it does is repellent to you".

There is nothing repellent about the face of The Chosen One, Daniel.
