Photo Proof That Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Are Hanging Out Again

​Let's get straight to it: Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are maybe/possibly/could be back together.

The pair, who broke off their engagement a little over two years ago, were spotted this weekend spending time together in Australia, at the Falls Music Festival​ in Byron Bay. What that "spending time together" actually looked like we don't know—​The Daily Telegraph says "they were spotted cuddling and kissing​," which may or may not be true, but they were for sure hanging out, because there is photo evidence:

Which, again, !!!!!!!.

Whether this means they're back on or just hanging out as a non-couple is a mystery. They're certainly on friendly terms since Miley helped Liam adopt a dog back in November (hi, Dora the Explorer!) and Liam told Men's Fitness in an interview in October that he'll always have feelings for his former fiancée:

"You fall in love with who you fall in love with; you can never choose. I guess some people just come with a little more baggage. I mean, look—we were together five years, so I don't think those feelings will ever change. And that's good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn't just a fling. It really was an important part of my life and always will be. She's a free spirit. I think she'll always surprise people with what she does, but she's not a malicious person in any way. She's a young girl who wants to do what she wants to do."​
