Gigi Hadid's Baby Ponytail is a Lazy Gal's Dream

CBA hairstyle goals if ever we've seen them

Gigi Hadid's Baby Ponytail is a Lazy Gal's Dream

If we had Gigi Hadid's California cool girl hair – those sun-kissed, Barbie-meets-bohemian locks – we'd probably just wear it loose all the time.

But the model du jour regularly gives good up-dos, from swishy face-lifting high ponytails to voluminous ballerina buns all with an air of being 'too cool to care'. Which she is, obvs.

Her latest effortlessly-seeming style is this baby half-ponytail positioned high on the crown of her head. SO simple, SO cool.

With the imperfect parting and obvious elastic band, it's a throw-and-go look that we can all copy – with minimal effort.

However, note how she's accentuated the 90s-ness of it, by accessorising with a cocker and long chain necklace against an gothic all-black outfit. Her makeup was minimal with neutral tones (also very reflective of that decade fashion is still obsessed with) adding to the overall look that is actually more considered than it seems.

This doesn't mean you need to try hard to copy Gigi's hairstyle itself though. Simply rake your locks (greasy, preferably) into a quarter section at the front and tie them up. If it's bumpy or lumpy who cares – the less polished the better. HURRAH.
