Here's What Happened When These Americans Listened to REAL Indian Music!

No. Jai Ho doesn't count.

Yes, Bollywood is popular. And yes everyone around the world knows about Slumdog Millionaire and 'Jai Ho', but here's the thing, there's so much more to Indian music. 

That's why when BuzzFeed India showed Americans videos from the MTV Coke Studio series, they were literally blown away!

Here's the experiment that BuzzFeed did.

After showing them videos of 'Madari' sung by Vishal Dadlani and Ram Sampath's 'Kattey', 'Khuda Wohi Hai' by Zila Khan the reaction was what you'd expect (Coke Studio is amazing!). And yes, they'd much rather listen to this than Bollywood music.
