Diesel Founder Renzo Rosso Comes to LFW India

​Nicknamed the 'Denim Man' by Dalai Lama, Renzo Rosso is in town and is giving us a glimpse of his life at Lakme Fashion Week Day 1, in a session with Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The founder of global denim brand, Deisel, will be the Guest of Honour at LFW, Mumbai on March 30th & 31st, 2016.

Rosso is also set to announce Diesel's next global collaboration in India—merging fashion and sports, with one of the IPL Cricket teams— The Mumbai Indians.

Rosso will be finishing up his trip with a visit to the country's biggest fashion college, NIFT, Delhi to have an interaction with the students.

"With the world's largest youth population, India houses some great young talent; we are increasingly witnessing that on global fashion platforms. I always look for opportunities to interact with students as that's a great place to gauge new ideas, perceptions and tapping the pulse. So I am really happy when I can interact with young minds," Rosso tells the media.
