7 Times You Should Definitely Trust Your Instincts

Do you ever get this funny feeling when you just know you are right? That little voice that tells you something before it actually happens?  That sixth sense is your instincts and although you it might not always be right, you should never ignore your gut feelings. Here are 7 times you should DEFINITELY listen to your inner voice.

1) Your relationship.
Had a few amazing dates and feel like you have found 'the one'?  You probably have! Our initial gut feelings can be very telling. On the contrary, if you feel that niggling feeling that something isn't right in your relationship, it may be a red flag.

2) If you are in danger.
If you ever feel like you are in danger, always listen to your instincts. The situation may be totally harmless, bit it is better to be safe than sorry.

3) Taking a job.
You have been through an intensive interview process and finally got an offer, but your gut is making you hesitant to accept. Listen to it! It is easy to let finances or benefits motivate you, but deep down feelings may be the secret to job happiness.

4) 'Maternal instincts'.
If you are a mother and get that unsetting feeling about your child, don't ignore it. If you feel like something isn't right, it is best to check in with your physician just to be sure.

5) Your heath.
Your body has a strange ability to tell you something is wrong, therefore always listen to it. If something feels strange or you notice changes in your body, it might be time to check in with a doctor.

6) The 'off' feeling.
We all have days when we don't feel like ourselves, but if you go to a new place in a different neighbourhood or meeting a total stranger for the first time and get an 'off' feeling, don't let it go. In fact, it may be best to find an excuse and leave.

7) Your friend.
You should never have to question your friendship with a close friend. If you are constantly feeling negative about a certain friend, it may be time to reevaluate your friendship.
