We've all had that moment where we stumble across an eye-roll-worthy Facebook post in our news feed.
Whether it's that overly-proud mother who shares an average of 30 pictures a day or somebody going off on a political rant, we all have that sneaky desire to block our annoying-but-dear friend.
There's also those moments where you're religiously following a TV series (Game of Thrones, anyone?), only to log into Facebook and see a big fat spoiler plastered all over your Timeline.
So what would you say if we told you that there's a way to filter them, without having to delete anybody?
The Facebook Filter Feed Chrome extension allows you to type in topics, keywords or phrases that you don't want to see in your timeline.
This tool will then remove any posts containing these words from your timeline.
To begin, download the Facebook Filter Feed extension – which only works on Chrome, FYI.
Once it has downloaded, you will notice a funnel-shaped icon appear in your toolbar (shown below - you may need to close and restart Chrome to see it).
You can then log into Facebook, click on the funnel and a FilterFeed pop-up will appear.
Type in any keywords that you don't want to see – and voila!
We'll definitely be using it to avoid any Bake Off spoilers this summer…
