Basically you can blast your own home workout, by simply doing the housework. Clever right?

Each household chore targets different muscle groups, according to Stormclad.co.uk, so if you mix them together, you'll be working all your core muscles to create the perfect full-body workout.

Scrubbing
the floors will work your core and your upper arms, as well as toning
up your abs. It can even work off a large slice of pizza. If you really
want to up your workout game, you can use both hands and practice your
planking — your core will love you for it.

Hoovering is also great for working the core, whilst washing windows can strengthen the upper body.

And if you're worried about your cardio, you needn't be. According to Stormclad.co.uk, mowing the lawn will give you the equivalent workout to a 25-minute game of badminton.

It
doesn't stop there either. The dull DIY projects you keep constantly
putting off could actually help you drop a few pounds too. 30 minutes of
painting really works your upper arms, as well as burning 210 calories –
or the equivalent of 1 ½ glasses of wine. It might be time to
redecorate the hallway this weekend!

This certainly puts a whole new spin on doing the housework. Anyone else inclined to reach for the polish and feather duster?
