This Ice Cube Trick Removes Wrinkles From Clothes in Minutes

No bulky ironing board required.

We've all experienced those annoying mornings where it takes 15 minutes just to pick out a shirt to wear, but, of course, it's wrinkled. And since you took years to make your selection, you're now running late. Lovely. The next time this happens to you and you don't have the time (or patience) to lug out your iron and board, try this clever trick using ice cubes.

All you have to do is throw three or four cubes into your dryer, along with the wrinkled garment. Then let it run for about 10 minutes. The cubes will melt, creating moisture and a steam-like effect that will zap creases and leave clothes wrinkle-free. Sound too easy? It's not. In fact, Lexie Sachs, the senior textiles analyst in the Textiles, Paper & Plastics Lab of the Good Housekeeping Institute says her husband does this on the daily. And if you're out of ice, you can use a wet washcloth instead.
