Woohoo! Another Bollywood Actor Has Snagged a Big Hollywood Film

​It's always exciting to see Indian actors in Hollywood films. And while we were going cray over Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone starring in major Hollywood ventures, another actor has snagged a leading role in a very big project!

Ali Fazal, the hunk from Fukrey and Bang Baaja Baarat (web series), is going to star opposite Judy Dench in a historial drama called Victoria & Abdul. The film is based on Shrabani Basu's book Victoria & Abdul: The True Story of the Queen's Closest Confidant, and ​Judi Dench will be playing Queen Victoria and Ali Fazal will play the role of Abdul, an Indian clerk Abdul who won the Queen's heart in her later years. ​

Talking about the film, Ali said: "It doesn't get better I guess. I have known about this beautiful story for ages. Never thought I'd be destined to play out a real-life character." Ali also added that he went through endless auditions and readings, and really glad that he got the role.
