Western Media Just Mistook Sonam Kapoor to be Deepika Padukone

So you know how Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, are both taking Hollywood by storm? They're doing India incredibly proud with their talent, in Baywatch and xXx: Return of the Xander Cage. But weirdly, the foreign media had trouble seeing their individual successes.

Deepika was mistakenly called Priyanka, by a certain section of the media, as she walked out of the Los Angeles Airport.

This obviously, did not go down well with her, and in a recent interview, she said, "It's not just about me being offended. It's you all in this room who should be offended. It's not just ignorance, it's also racist. Two people of similar colour are not the same people. So, you as fellow Indians should actually be calling them out and educating them instead of encouraging it. Ignorance is ignorance. I feel bad for them."

But what do you know, the International media have done it, yet again. At the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, they confused Sonam Kapoor to be Deepika! Seriously guys?!

A popular American stock photo agency, posted a picture of Sonam, and captioned it as, "Indian actress Deepika Padukone arrives for the film The Meyerowitz Stories in competition at the 70th Annual International Film Festival in Cannes, France on May 21, 2017."
